Abraham Saul Fischler Ed.D's Obituary
He is survived by his incredible wife of 67 years, Shirley, and his children Bruce, Martha, Michael, Anita, and Lori; his grandchildren Kenneth, Danielle, Micheal and Mikaela; and his great-grandson Jacob Paxton. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Temple Beth El, located at 1351 South 14th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33020. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. The internment is private and for family only. The Fischler family will be sitting Shiva on Wednesday after the internment until 8:00 p.m. at the home of Michael and Anita Fischler located at 12061 N.W. 10th Street, Coral Springs, Florida 33071 (Isle’s subdivision across from Eagle Trace on Lakeview Drive) with a Minyan service taking place at 6:30 p.m. The family graveside service will be private. The family will also be sitting Shiva on: Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Minyan service at 6:30 p.m.: Friday, April 7, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: and Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dr. Fischler to the Abraham and Shirley Fischler Scholarship Fund at Nova Southeastern University, the Holocaust Documentation and Education Center of South Florida in Dania, Florida or to a charity of your choice.
