In Loving Memory of Pastor Alberto Almeida
Pastor Alberto Almeida, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pastor, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior at the age of 81.
Born in Montes Claros, Brazil, Alberto dedicated his life to pursuing God’s purpose and faithfully following every vision God placed upon his heart. For 56 years, he served as a pastor, ministering to countless individuals and families with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith. His life was a testimony to the power of obedience, perseverance, and trust in God.
One of the defining acts of his life was courageously moving his family from Brazil to the United States. During a time when such a journey seemed impossible for many, Alberto followed God’s leading with determination and faith. Through sacrifice, hard work, and steadfast conviction, he created opportunities that would bless not only his children, but generations that followed.
Alberto shared 56 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Maria Almeida. Together they built a family rooted in faith, love, service, and devotion to God. He was a devoted father to his seven children: Adalberto, Ecclesia, Nathanael, Leia, Jesiel, Sulamita, and Priscilla.
His greatest joy was seeing his family grow in faith and purpose. He leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, each carrying forward a portion of the legacy he worked so diligently to build.
Those who knew Pastor Alberto remember a man of vision, integrity, courage, and deep conviction. He never allowed obstacles to deter him from God’s calling. Whether serving his congregation, encouraging a friend, leading his family, or pursuing a God-given dream, he approached every endeavor with faith and determination.
His influence extended far beyond the pulpit. Through decades of ministry, mentorship, and leadership, he inspired countless people to trust God, pursue their purpose, and live lives marked by faith. His example will continue to shape the lives of those he loved and served for generations to come.
While his family grieves his absence, they rejoice in the assurance that the faith he preached for more than five decades has now become his reality. He has finished his race, kept the faith, and entered into eternal rest with the Savior he so faithfully served.
Pastor Alberto Almeida’s legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Maria; his seven children; his 19 grandchildren; his 2 great-grandchildren; and the countless lives transformed by his ministry.
