Alice Gordon's Obituary
It is with great sadness, the family of Alice Gordon of Tamarac, FL (formerly Brooklyn, NY), announces her passing at age 96, on April 16, 2021. Alice was a dedicated New York City schoolteacher for 35 years. Upon retiring, she enjoyed meeting her former students, by chance, at their workplaces and elsewhere. Alice love arts and was an avid reader, and she did the word puzzle Jumble with her daughter everyday. Until her passing, Alice enjoyed watching tennis and baseball games with her husband, Emanuel, before his death. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Emanuel, of 72 years, Alice is survived by her devoted daughters Susan Clark and Robin Gillman, loving grandchildren Shawna Clark and Jonathan Gillman (Danielle), and great granddaughter Ella Gillman. She will always be remembered as a devoted, loving, kind-hearted, highly intelligent wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Alice will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A private funeral will take place in Long Island, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander-Levitt Funerals & Cremations 8135 W. McNab Road Tamarac, FL 33321.
