Ana Sonkin's Obituary
Ana Sonkin caring and adored wife, mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend passed away on January 23rd, 2020 at the age of 77. Ana fought a courageous battle with Cancer and was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Ana moved to the United States from Cuba at the age of 14 to graduate from the University of Cincinnati with high honors as a Math major and meeting her husband at the same University. Ana shared her passion for everything she accomplished in life to include decades of success selling Real Estate.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Ana. She loved spending her evenings with friends and family enjoying the new trendy restaurant in town with a glass of wine in hand. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities with a passion for food, traveling, and sports. Her vibrant personality was contagious to everyone she met.
Ana is survived by her Husband, David, Daughter Jennifer, Son-Edward-Daughter-In-law Fran, Son-In-law Scott, Sister Miriam, Niece Allison, Granddaughters Jolie, Gabrielle, and Julia, and Grandsons Jack and Benjamin.
A chapel service will be held on January 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N. 72nd Ave., Hollywood, Florida, 33024.
