Anthony (Antoine) Moltimer

On Friday, October 09, 2020, Anthony (Antoine) Moltimer, loving father and grandfather, returned to his heavenly home at the age of 62 after a valiant battle with a long illness. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Antoine was born on April 8, 1958 in Carenage, Haiti to Morales and Sylvia Moltimer. In the late 70s , while in his early 20s, Antoine sought out for more opportunity and decided to leave Haiti. He came to Freeport, Grand Bahamas and in 1989 moved to Florida.
Antoine had a passion for fishing and soccer. He was a true sportsman. He played soccer for the Bahamian soccer team and practiced Karate faithfully. You could always find him in front of a television watching any sports game. Antoine was an amazing father that always put the needs of his family first. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Antoine thrived by helping other people. He is beloved by his grandsons who would never miss a moment to hang out with grandpa. He was a devout Catholic and attended Sunday Mass with his church family at St. Clement Catholic Church-Divine Mercy Haitian Mission.
Antoine was preceded in death by his father, Morales, his mother, Sylvia; his 3 sisters; his youngest brother Elvé; and his eldest son Anthony. He is survived by his daughter, Antoinese; his 2 brothers, Eric and Harry; his stepdaughters Jenne and Pauline; and his grandsons, Frank, Peter, and Felix; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 9:30am-10:30am at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Funeral Mass to follow. Burial will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery following the mass. Flowers may be sent to Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church.
