Arnold Kenneth Wasserman's Obituary
Arnold (Arnie) Kenneth Wasserman, 83, of Delray Beach, Florida formerly of Pembroke Pines, passed away on November 16, 2020, after a four-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Arnie was born on May 1, 1937 in Bronx, New York to Faye and Eddie Wasserman. Arnie was a jeweler with tremendous talent and creativity. He began his career in New York City and moved his business to Miami in 1974. S&A Jewelers later moved to a permanent home in Aventura. In 1975, Arnie married his soulmate and wife of 45 years, Carol. The family settled in Pembroke Pines, where he and Carol remained until 2015 when he retired, and they moved to Delray Beach.
Arnie loved his family, his business, taking cruises, frequent trips to Disney World (where Goofy was his favorite). He was an avid bowler and also loved doing yard work, the Miami Dolphins (he was a season ticket holder for years) and hot dogs from Costco.
Surviving are his loving wife Carol Wasserman, children Ellen Arfanis, husband Dean, Cindy Soto, husband Roger, Sherry Workman, and Jay Wasserman, wife Tina, 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Arnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Sheila Winitzer and daughter Elyse Morales. Arrangements are entrusted to Alexander-Levitt Funeral & Cremations, 8135 W. McNab Road, Tamarac, FL 33321.
