Bernard Sacks' Obituary
Bernard Sacks, affectionately known as Bernie, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the age of 88.
Bernie was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 22, 1936. He had a long and accomplished career in the advertising industry and in the finance departments of TV Guide and Seventeen Magazine. He resided in East Brunswick, NJ, where he and his wife raised their family, before retiring to Boynton Beach, Florida, where he lived for the past 21 years.
Bernie is survived by his devoted wife, Gloria; their three children, Elaine, Jeffrey, and Michelle; his daughter-in-law Leslie and son-in-law Glenn. He was the proud and beloved grandfather of six grandchildren: Abbi, Jason, Julia, Alex, Aidan, and Shane.
Bernie’s love for his family and friends was unwavering. His kindness, generosity, and sharp sense of humor touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those he loved.
A funeral service will be held at gravesite at Menorah Gardens at 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL on Friday, April 18th at 12:30pm.
