Beverly Neustadter's Obituary
Beverly Gerber Neustadter a resident of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, was born March 13, 1923 and lived until over 100, passing away on December 30, 2023. She was the last of seven children, but turned out to be the best of them. She was sensitive, kind, generous and intelligent, with boundless intellectual curiosity. She combined seriousness with a great sense of humor.
After marrying the late Irving and raising her two daughters, Marion and Judy, she obtained an associates degree from Brooklyn College and went on to work as an executive assistant to three department chairmen, all of whom became close friends. Throughout her life, she read and studied—from science to art history to literature. She could never learn enough. She was fascinated by vocabulary and would work for hours on word search puzzles up until the day she died.
She was the cherished wife of the late Irving, the grandmother of Paige Histand (Steve) and the late Ian Bosin, and great grandmother of Henry Ian Histand. She is also the adored aunt of Sandra Neustadter, Judy Lee Neustadter, Alan Kassel, Jerry Gerber and Susan Harnage. We will love and miss her always.
