Candi Casino's Obituary
Candi Aileen Casino, 86, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025.
Candi was a beloved mother and grandmother whose warmth, generosity, and spirit touched all who knew her. An incredible performer and vocalist, Candi shared her gift of music with the world and was proud to be one of the founders of Don Casino Entertainment, where her passion and vision helped shape a lasting legacy in the industry. She also founded The Leading Ladies, a nonprofit charitable organization established over 25 years ago that supports organ transplantation — a cause close to her heart and one that continues to thrive today.
She leaves behind her devoted children, Wendy Garvis (and son-in-law Scott Garvis) and Barry Friedman (and daughter-in-law Zareen Friedman), and her cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Lily, and Tyler, who were the light of her life.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL. Shiva will immediately follow the service at 1240 Parkside Ave, Boca Raton, and will continue Monday evening from 4–10 p.m. at the same address.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, in Candi’s memory.
May she rest in peace with her soulmate, Don Casino, as they make beautiful music and share laughter together again.
