Claudine Georgina Grindley Findlay's Obituary
Claudine Georgina Grindley Findlay went to be with Jesus on July 30th after a long and most courageous battle with cancer. Georgie was born on August 28, 1977, to Roye and Janis Grindley in Mandeville, Jamaica. She was a dedicated wife, mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, friend, educator, entrepreneur with a "can do" attitude. Georgie attended Black River and Burnt Savanah Primary Schools, then graduated Hampton School for girls in 1993. Claudine received her bachelor's degree in Hospitality at Hockings College in Ohio and received her Master's degree in Education from American Intercontinental University. Georgie left with us a legacy of faith and courage that will be with us for the rest of our lives. Gone on before us but will be forever in our hearts. Survived by Husband Arden, Daughter Zawadi, Son Zachary, grandmother, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Home going celebration is on Saturday, August 14th at 11:00 am at Alexander-Levitt, 8135 W. McNab Road, Tamarac, FL 33321, and interment follows at Fred Hunters Memorial Gardens, 3001 N 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 333021.
