David Besnoff's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Besnoff (Sunrise, Florida), at the age of 92, who passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his loving wife of 69 years, Shirley Besnoff, his children, Larry Besnoff (Teresa Gavigan), Janet Wong and Anita Ross Christian (Kris Christian), and his wonderful grandchildren, Jarrid Wong, Jetta Wong (Alex McDonough), Sarah Besnoff (Eric Stahl), Rachel Besnoff (Michael Bender), Kara Ross and Ryan Ross. David will also be remembered by all of his friends in Philadelphia, where he was raised and lived until his retirement, and during his long and successful career with the Pennsylvania Railroad, the PennCentral Railroad and Conrail.
A funeral service will be held on May 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the Alexander-Levitt Funeral Memorial Chapel, 8135 W. McNab Road, Tamarac, with burial to follow immediately at the Lake Worth Veteran’s Cemetery. Shiva will be observed after the funeral at the family home until 8:00 p.m..
