David Kleiner's Obituary
David Kleiner passed from this earth at the North Carolina home of his daughter Wendy and son-in-law, Stuart R. Goldstein on January 9th, 2025. He had turned 104 on December 5, 2024 and witnessed many amazing changes in the world during his lifetime.
During his life, David was fortunate to see and enjoy his 3 grandsons, Josh(Astrid Schmid), Noah (Rachael Brody) and Eli (Alyssa) along with his 7 great-grandchildren, Kai, Lyla, Hazel, Lian, Zephyr, Elsie and Netta. He played an important part in all of their lives.
He was married to Glory who passed in 2001. He was also fortunate to spend his last 22 years with his companion Dr. Sondra Abrams (Sandy) with whom he had a great life and travelled extensively.
David served as a Captain in the Army Air Force Medical Corps during WWII. He was an ENT specialist who later brought microsurgery of the inner ear to Long Island as Chief of ENT Surgery at Mid-Island Hospital.
During his life, David was a private pilot, a boatsman, photographer, wood carver specializing in birds, wood turner, and sculptor all of which he performed at professional levels producing amazing works of art. He was also a ham radio operator.
David will be brought to Boynton Beach, Florida where he will rest beside his wife, Glory.
He will be sorely missed.
