Eleanor Acock's Obituary
Eleanor Diane Spitzberg Acock, loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, on December 29, 2022. She was born on October 15, 1946, and is survived by her three children, daughter Evelyn (Victor) Valerio, son Maj. Ret. Adam Acock, and youngest daughter, Amy (Darren) Miller, her brother Larry (Susan) Spitzberg, and sister Marion (Col. Ret. Joel) Messing. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashli) Domescik, Alexandria Smith, Kyle Valerio, Savanna Acock, Carson Klein, and Isabelle Acock, and two great grandchildren, Everli and Thea Domescik. Eleanor was a dedicated military spouse, loving stay-at-home mother, and was active in local organizations to include the book club and bowling team. She found peace through painting, pottery, and her writing, and loved her shopping! Graveside services will commence at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, 8 January, 2023, at the Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024. She will be greatly missed by all.
