Elizabeth Ann Pulte's Obituary
Elizabeth A. “Liz” Pulte; age 72; of Fort Lauderdale, FL; formerly of LaGrange, IL; passed away on March 2, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Donald and late Dorothy Pulte. Loving sister of Susan (Dana) Rose, Patricia Pulte, and Katherine Pulte. Devoted aunt of Eric Rose, Carolyn (Brad) Bland, and Lisa (Jason) Schertz. Great-aunt of five. Dear niece, cousin, and friend of many. Former spouse of Mark Chmiel from 1985 to 2003.
Liz lived a full life. Many of the other places she lived included Chicago, Singapore, Tokyo, Japan, San Francisco, and San Diego. As a graduate from Southern Illinois University in art education, she often created artists crafts with family and friends. Her passions with scuba diving and sailing took her to the ocean locations she was so drawn to. Liz will be greatly missed.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held in LaGrange, IL at a later disclosed date.
