Estelle was born in Hammond, Indiana on June 28th 1932, the last of six children born to Samuel and Freda Ross. She spent her youth mostly with her family – with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Estelle had two wonderful children, Donald and Elise, and devoted her life to raising her family. She was extremely social and constantly attending and throwing parties with their neighbors and friends. She loved to travel and explore the world with her family, and she especially loved a cruise. She loved dogs and had many loyal canine companions over the years – she often dressed them up for Halloween parties that she threw in her driveway. Estelle was a loving grandmother to David and Lea, always ready to brag about their accomplishments to anyone that would listen. She was incredibly kind and generous, always willing to help anyone that needed it.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Freda Ross, her brothers Harry Ross, Arnold Ross, and Bernard Ross, her sisters Marion Lipson and Ruth Gubitz, her son Donald Kolesky, and her husband Harold Holland. She is survived by her daughter Elise Kolesky, her grandson David (Sydney) Kolesky, her granddaughter Lea Kolesky, and her great granddaughter Estee Kolesky.
After 7 long years of suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease, she can rest peacefully, where she can share a hug, a laugh & a nosh with her loved ones passed.
