Flora A Bofshever's Obituary
Flora Ann Bofshever, born on February 17, 1945, passed away on March 28, 2024, in Lauderhill, Florida, at the age of 79. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Flora's kindness, beauty, and hard work endeared her to all who knew her. She lived a life filled with love and generosity, always treating others with the utmost kindness and respect.
Flora had a special place in her heart for education and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, dedicating her career to their care and well-being. She was known for her warm hospitality, often opening her home to family, friends, and neighbors for holidays and special occasions. Time after time, she cared for her children’s friends when in need, providing a warm meal, safe space, and loving home. There was always a place at her dinner table for family, friends, and neighbors.
Flora is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Harold Bofshever, her son Jon Bofshever, daughter Mia Long (Jason), her grandsons Scott Burger and Max Bofshever, and her granddaughters Amanda Burger and Peri Bofshever. She is preceded in death by her father Sidney Drucker, her mother Myra Drucker, and her brothers Leon Drucker and Larry Drucker.
Services for Flora will be held at Beth David Memorial Gardens, located at 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Arc of Florida in honor of Flora's dedication to individuals with disabilities. Flora's memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
