Gail Herbst's Obituary
Gail Harriet Herbst (nee Naiditch) passed peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 77 years of age. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Herbst; sister, Karen Wolfson; nieces, Shana Wolfson and Loni Evans; and nephew, Michael Wolfson. She was predeceased by her son, Theodore Herbst, and her parents, Jeanette and Louis Naiditch.
Gail was a sweet, kind-hearted woman who cared deeply for her family. Even though she didn’t have an easy life, she always managed to persevere. She was first and foremost a family person. She loved her children and took great interest in their well-being, providing support in any way she could. It brought her great joy to see her daughter so happy in recent years. Despite losing her son at too early an age, he never left her thoughts. Gail was very close to her sister. Everyone called them “the sisters” because they were inseparable and did most everything together. Gail enjoyed spending time with friends and taking part in the Jewish community. She also liked word searches, watching reruns of old sitcoms, and following the latest happenings of the Royals. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Baruch dayan ha’emet. Rest peacefully.
