Gerry and I served together in the Army Security Agency, ASA, in the field station located in Helemano, Oahu, Hawaii in the early 1950,s. We lost touch after leaving the ASA but regained it at reunion time. Great sense of humor and fun ti be around.

We spent many a night together playing poker until the early hours. We always enjoyed his company although he was mostly a winner. His horse, Big Towner, made a fortune for him. The Derby Day Parties were a main event of his life and he rarely missed one. All of us will remember him as an intelligent, fun-loving, good-hearted man and we will all miss him.
