Gerard was devoted to his family and found his greatest joy in time spent with those he loved most. He is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Grau; his son, Jonathan Grau, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth; and his adored grandchildren, Audrey, Eva, and Jonathan Grau, who were a continual source of pride and happiness.
He is also lovingly remembered by his four devoted furbabies—Sammi, Jack, Shai, and Mischa—who brought him daily comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
