Henriette "Henja" Susser's Obituary
Henriette (“Henja”) Susser, 100, of Boynton Beach Florida passed away June 11, 2026. Loving mother of Sam Susser, Margalit Susser, and Bennet Susser (Pat) (who affectionally called her Mutti - the German equivalent of Mommy), cherished grandmother of Matthew Susser, Jodi Susser (Dan Ulloa) and Adam Susser, and cherished aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt to the offspring of her six predeceased siblings.
Henriette was the youngest of seven children born to Markus and Eva Friedler in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. She met and married the love of her life, a fellow-Holocaust survivor, Kurt Susser in Israel, where their first two children we born. They ultimately immigrated to the United States, first to Pittsburgh, then to Brooklyn (where their last child was born) and Queens, New York, and ultimately to Pembroke Pines. After Kurt passed, she eventually moved to Boynton Beach. She was loved by all who knew her throughout her long years

A funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at Beth David Memorial Gardens - Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapels, 3201 N 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida.
