Ilsa was a kind, caring independent woman. She loved her precious family, prayed deeply, and volunteered selflessly, The world is a better place because of Ilsa. She never lost her sense of humor and wrote beautiful notes to her friends and family. I felt honored when I sat with her in services. I will miss our conversations and eating hot dogs and pickles at Bens. I wished I had done as she asked, and picked her up to clean the NY subways for Governor Cuomo. Someone told me my face lit up with joy when I saw my friend Ilsa. She will always be in my heart and I sorely miss her. She was my gentle Giant. I love you Ilsa, Rest In Peace with your beloved Ernie.
