Irene Eaton's Obituary
Irene (Iryna) Klymochko Eaton of Sunrise, FL, beloved wife of David Eaton, passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 65. Irene was born in Rochester, NY, daughter of Pauline Klymochko and the late Michael Klymochko. She is survived by her siblings Lesia (Richard) Jenco, Bohdan (Carmelina) Klymochko and Zorianna (Dean) Nichols. Loving aunt of Andrew Jenco, Michael (Tasha) Jenco, Bohdan (Shannon) Klymochko, DO, Justin (Lauren) Klymochko and Alexander Klymochko. Irene was also blessed with many aunts, uncles and cousins, both in the U.S. and Ukraine, as well as many dear friends throughout her lifetime.
Irene lived most of her life in Rochester. She and her husband relocated to Florida in the 1990’s, where she was a devoted employee of Corelogic until she retired in March of 2021.
Irene greatly cherished all of her family and friends. Her pride was in her nephews, great nieces and great nephew. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Irene. She so enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing games (especially Yahtzee tournaments with her husband) and taking an afternoon nap. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, and her big heart was known to all of her family and friends. We will miss her cheerful attitude, her sense of humor and her bright smile.
Funeral Mass and Interment to be held in Rochester, NY at a later date. Contributions in memory of Irene can be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
