Irene Kabinoff (Weinberg/Papowitz) age 93 passed away on Wednesday May 12, 2022
Irene was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Scranton, PA when she was a child. She later returned to Brooklyn and graduated Lafayette High School. During the mid 1950’s she lived in Belle Glade Fl. Once again she returned to Brooklyn (Canarsie) and then to Oceanside on Long Island before she and her husband Al, retired to Lake Worth, FL. Her last few years she got her wish and lived in Boynton Beach with her son Richard and daughter-in-law Phyllis.
She and her husband built a successful home and auto glass business (Al’s Glass) in Oceanside and sold it when they retired to Florida. In Florida her passion was buying and selling jewelry. In addition, she also sold real estate and took care of her husband and grandchildren.
Irene is predeceased by her husband Al (2001). She is survived by her children, son Richard (Phyllis) Kabinoff of Boynton Beach, Florida, daughter Michelle Lee of Columbia Falls, Montana, daughter Jody Brooker of Westlake Village, California and step-son Robert Kabinoff of Palm Springs, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren Garrett (Audrey) Kabinoff, Melanie Kabinoff, Jesse Elkin, Dana (Eric) Carlson and Beth (Jeremy) Brooks and her great grandchildren Hendrick Kabinoff, Emily Elkin and Olivia Carlson.
Graveside Funeral Services will be Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 12:15pm at Eternal Light Cemetery in Boynton Beach, Florida
