Janis Rosenbloom's Obituary
Janis Rosenbloom of South Florida, born and raised in New York City, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
Janis is survived by her devoted children, Emily (Adam) Dier and Douglas (Samantha Cohen) Rosenbloom; her loving sister Susan (Steven) Michaelson; and her cherished grandchildren Talya Dier, Gavriel Dier, and Julian Rosenbloom. She is also remembered by her nephew Jeremy (Ali) Michaelson and great-nephew Zachary and great-niece Hailey. Janis shared many years with her former husband, Martin Rosenbloom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Elizabeth Bornstein, whose values and love shaped the person she became.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Levitt-Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Gardens, immediately followed by entombment at Beth El Memorial Gardens, Davie, FL.
Shiva will be observed at the Dier Residence on the following days:
Tuesday (following the service) until 8:30 PM

Wednesday & Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Friday: Services at Congregation Shaarei Kodesh, Boca Raton**

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to We Care Food Pantry, honoring Janis’s lifelong commitment to helping others.
