Joseph W. Joseph, 68, of Tamarac, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2024 due to blood cancer and heart ailment.
Joseph was born on October 28, 1955 to Andrew II and Delores Joseph in Hinsdale, IL. Joseph had two brothers, Andrew III and Scott Joseph, who since passed away.
In on Mother’s Day, May 8, 1983, Joseph met his wife, Julie, and fell in love with each other immediately. They married on July 4, 1985 in Hinsdale, IL at Reedemer Lutheran Church. Joseph is survived by Julie (wife), Jennifer Schlutow (daughter) and Jaime Joseph (daughter).
Joseph worked for the Sheet Metal Workers Union for 30 years until he and his family moved to Florida from Illinois to help his mother take care of his father, who passed away on February 8, 2003 from Alzheimer’s Disease. Joseph retired early in 2017 to take care of his mother who suffered from Dementia until her passing on August 22, 2017.
Since his retirement, he enjoyed playing frisbee golf. He came in 1st place many times at the Disc Golf Tournaments. Joseph also loved riding both of his Harley Davidson motorcycles, which made him the happiest. Most of all, the friends that he made along the way meant the world to him. Anywhere he went he was always smiling and laughing. His friends were so happy to see him.
Joseph was a great family man. He was so proud of his family. He loved his wife and children unconditionally. His love never faded. Joseph will be missed deeply from his macaw bird,
Rocky Baby and his little Maltese, Lacie.
Joseph passed away quietly surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. He will be deeply missed in our hearts. We are so lucky and grateful to have him in our life.
