Kristine Ruth Hart's Obituary
Kristine “Ruth” Hart was born in Zarki, Poland, August 1, 1939 and passed August 17, 2021. Ruth was a remarkably strong, kind, beautiful and humble person. She survived the Holocaust as a child, in situations that can only be called miraculous and came to the United States with her parents Sam and Celia Jonisch and little sister Esther in 1955. She received her bachelor’s degree from CCNU and married her beloved husband Alexander Hart in 1959. They were married more than 50 years before he passed in 2010 and they had both been strong supporters of Jewish Organizations and were always quiet about being founding members of numerous Synagogues. Ruth was a devoted wife and homemaker and helped her husband survive numerous heart surgeries and a heart transplant. She loved to cook and give unsolicited medical advice. She struggled with Parkinson’s for the past 26 years and is survived by her eldest daughter, Gail Hart, son, Leon (Arie) Hart and daughter, Sally (Yaffa) Stahl and her husband Blake. Ruth will be missed by all that knew her.
