Here at Edgewater, I have known Lucille Caine for over 10 years. My name is Sally Davis and for years I ate dinner with Lucille at least twice a week.
I have never known a woman who would dress so impeccably with matching jewelry, scarves, etc. This was truly Lucille, even when her eyesight was failing.
Lucille was always amenable to including new residents at her dinner tables so they were able to meet new people and acclimate easier into Edgewater. She was a gracious and pleasant hostess to everyone.
Lucille’s stories and experiences about her education background as a teacher in New York were always appropriate and interesting.
Although Lucille will be missed, she will not be forgotten. She lived her life fully and independently to the age of 102. She always looked forward to communicating with her extended family. Her two daughters, Wendy and Donna were always available to her and I was particularly pleased to develop a friendship with Wendy.
My name is Sally Davis, and I have known Lucille for more than 10 years. Where to start? Lucille was one of the most impeccable dressed woman I have ever known and she was so elegant to complete her wardrobe with matching jewelry, scarves /whatever to look so fashionable.
At least once a week, I ate dinner with Lucille and she was always so willing to include new residents and welcome them to Edgewater. She always said she’d figure out something to include them at one of her tables.
Her experiences as an educator in New York were always appropriate yet informational. Lucille was definitely a role model for her students.
Although Lucille will be missed, she will not be forgotten as a resident at Edgewater who lived a full life to the age of 102. May she rest in peace.
Although I never met this beautiful woman, I feel like I knew her. Since I love my desr friend Wendy, I'm sure I would have greatly respected and loved her beloved mom.
May Lucille find eternal peace. May her loving family
always find blessings and joy from their memories
Of her life.
She will always live in your hearts.
With love and condolences
