Mirmasood "Mike" Adili's Obituary
Mirmasood “Mike” Adili, 71, unexpectedly passed away on August 3rd, 2022 in
Plantation, Florida. Mirmasood was born in Tehran, Iran to Ezzat Lolo and Seyyed Asghar Adili
in 1951, the third of five children. Mirmasood was raised in Iran with his three brothers and his
sister before immigrating to America with his brother Mirmohammad at 18 years old in 1969.
After migrating to America and traveling all over the United States, Mirmasood ultimately
settled in Miami, Florida. Through many years of tirelessly working in restaurants as a server,
primarily at the Forge in North Miami Beach, he financially built a solid foundation for his new life
in America. Through his hard work, he funded his education and graduated from the University
of Miami with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. With his innate talent and formal education,
he meticulously designed and lovingly crafted a beautiful home in Southwest Ranches for his
brother, Miryahya. Upon completion of this project, Mirmasood’s brother, Mirmohammad, invited
him to join the family business, Air Sunshine, where he remained a dedicated vice president for
the next 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed making memories with his family, watching
football, improving the grounds of his home, and cooking delicious Persian food.
One of Mirmasood’s greatest joys was becoming a devoted father to his two children,
Shereen and Bijan. He made many sacrifices for his family and would do anything for them.
Mirmasood never missed a birthday, holiday, or any extracurricular activities his children were
passionate about. Growing up, his children considered him to be their superhero. Even as
adults, they still see him that way. Being a kind and dependable father was of the utmost
importance to Mirmasood, and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to loving his family
unconditionally. He was always there for his children when they needed him, constantly
providing numerous opportunities and memories they’ll cherish forever. His devotion to his
family extended to his mother, whom he affectionately cared for in her final years.
Mirmasood is predeceased by his father, Seyyed Asghar Adili, his mother, Ezzat Lolo,
and his older brother, Mirmohammad. Mirmasood is survived by his family, Shereen, Bijan, and
Dawn Marie, as well as his siblings, Mirhomayoun, Miryahya, and Najmeh, and many nieces
and nephews, Ronnie, Ali, Reza, Shayan, Jobin, Nika, Niki, and Sara.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13th at 11:00 am at AlexanderLevitt Funeral Home, 8135 W McNab Road, Tamarac, Florida 33321. The service will be
followed by a graveside ceremony at 12:30 pm at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th
