Norman Jay Bonchick's Obituary
Norman Jay Bonchick passed away on September 9, 2022. He was born June 4, 1943 in Manhattan. He grew up in the Bronx, graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School, and went on to graduate from the University of Miami. He served in the Army Reserve. Norman lived in many places but Boynton Beach, FL has been his home for the past 36 years. Norman worked in the liquor industry for over 50 years, from sales to CEO. He got his company involved with United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) after Hurricane Andrew destroyed 7 UCP group homes in Miami, and his involvement led to him being named CEO of UCP South Florida. Norman was well known for his stories, his quick wit, and his blue eyes. He will be missed by many. Norman is survived by his wife Cathy; his four sons, Jonathan (Debbie), Steven (Becky), Lucas (Heather), and Anthony(Caroline); his grandchildren; Alyssa, Sydney, Lucy, Ella, Cara, Ryne, Leopold, Kenan, and Whit, and an abundance of loving family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Lou, his brother Robert. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, September 13th at 10:00AM at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024.
