Patrick C. Forde's Obituary
Patrick C. Forde was born September 19, 1956 and passed peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bridgetown, Barbados where he was raised and resided most of his life. He was genuine, courageous, funny and loving. His nick name “Pae” which was given to him by his grandmother Ruby Smith stuck with him throughout him lifetime. He is the grandson of late Ruby Smith “Ma”. Son of Ralph Barrow & Ilene Forde “mother”, Spouse of Esther Forde, Father of Tyrone Thompson, Michelle Stiebel & Natalie Forde-Montaque. Grandfather of Tionne Stuart, Tyriek Husbands, Daron Ward, Tajae Thompson, Tavio Thompson, Tionne Stiebel, Jaden Stiebel, Thalia Montaque & future sibling. Sibling of (Maternal) Jerry Forde, Yvonne Forde, Deryck Forde., late Juel Cumberbatch, Mathew Forde, Ann McClean, Whilmo Myers, Winston Forde & late Samuel Forde. (Paternal) Henry Barrow, Delores Atkins, late Elsie Dettering, George Barrow, Anthony Griffith, late Clifford Bramble, Alonzo Barrow & late Armentha Gibbs. He leaves behind multiple relatives who love, trust and adore him. Patrick was married to Esther for 28 years. He was very involved in the lives of his children, grandchildren and future generations. He was a positive influence on many other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, even neighborhood children and colleagues. His main profession was welding, but a talented man of many trades. He attended St. Leonard’s Boys School then later learned and practiced the trade of welding. His artistic views, much of which were self-taught led him to managing his own business. He was very reliable and everyone who knew him depended on his talents and trusted his judgement. He lived a fulfilling life, including travelling around the world. Patrick set the foundation for many of us and no matter his physical or financial situation he was always a welcoming provider. We thank and love him.
His faith lies with the Lord. May he Rest in Peace and he will forever be in our hearts.
