Paulette Sherman's Obituary
Paulette Sherman of Deerfield Beach passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at the age of 89. She was born on January 18, 1937.
Paulette is survived by her loving children: Terri Voss (Sheldon), Judy Mullinix (Dave), and Abby Mosher (Shel Cohen). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Evan Mullinix (Jessica), Julia Mullinix, Dustin Mosher (Maya), and David Voss (Audrey), and a cherished great grandmother to Luke Alexander Mullinix.
Paulette built a successful career through determination and hard work, beginning in data entry at Modcomp and rising to management positions there and later at Telematics. After retiring, she devoted her time to what mattered most, her family, her friends, and the things she loved.
Anyone who knew Paulette knew she was an incredible friend, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a way of lighting up every room with her beautiful smile and genuine care for others. Effervescent, confident, kind, and strong willed, she lived with honesty, integrity, and heart.
Her grandchildren were the absolute center of her world. She poured love, time, and joy into every one of them, creating bonds that will last forever. “Camp Grandma” was a place of pure magic, where laughter was constant, fun was guaranteed, and every grandchild felt deeply loved, seen, and celebrated. In her role as a mother, she carried that same thoughtfulness forward. Not wanting her own children to ever feel like they were missing out during the holidays, she lovingly created the “Hanukkah Fairy,” a tradition that brought joy, inclusion, and a sense of wonder to their lives.
She had a deep love for music, especially Adam Lambert and Queen, and could often be found singing in the chorus or joyfully watching dance performances. She enjoyed traveling, cheering on football games, playing at the casino, always rooting for the underdog, and had a special appreciation for Taiko drums.
Paulette loved games of all kinds, including Hand and Foot, trivia, and most especially Mahjong, where she was famously successful. If you ever needed quarters, Paulette always had them. Her laughter, energy, and love of life made every gathering brighter.
Paulette created a life rich in connection, joy, and unforgettable memories.
