I’m not sure if anyone will read this as It has been 5 years since Rolf’s passing. To his family, I’m sorry for your loss.

I was a 24 year old electrical engineer at Raytheon in 1987 when I worked on an air traffic control project for Rolf. He was a very smart and very senior engineer. He made an impression on me that made me a much more careful and better engineer. I never got to thank him and just searched for his name.
I also just learned that Rolf was in Israel in 1948. My father was as well and he also came to the USA in the early 50s.
I wish I had spoken to Rolf back then to hear his story.
