Rosalie Stern's Obituary
Mrs. Rosalie Stern passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Born on August 15, 1923, Rosalie was raised in East Boston, Massachusetts, and later, from 1954 to 1976, she and her husband Jacob raised their family in Winthrop, Massachusetts.
Rosalie and Jacob resided in West Palm Beach, Florida, since 1976. She is survived by her children Marcie Plummer and Michael Stern; her grandchildren Denelle Shemesh, Jessica Plummer, and Joshua McHugh; and great-grandchildren Asha and Jaden McHugh, and Shilee Shemesh.
Rosalie was a devoted mother and grandmother. She embraced life with a passion for sharing meals with her family, reading, writing, listening to music, and dancing. Her sweet personality and matching smile endeared her to everyone she met.
The family especially thanks Marie Mezidor, Rosalie’s devoted caregiver, for her many years of love, care, and companionship.
Rosalie will rest at The Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach with her late husband, Jacob Stern, daughter Evelyn Stern, daughter-in-law Susan Stern, and beloved mother, Sarah Adelman, following a memorial service beginning at noon at I J Morris Star of David Cemetery at 9321 Memorial Park Road, Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
