Roslyn London's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roslyn London, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Roslyn was born on November 16th, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Lillian Levine. She was a longtime resident of North Bay Village and Aventura, Florida. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and boundless energy, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her.
Roslyn's life was a testament to her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was the loving mother of three sons, Joseph (Robynn) who both predeceased her, Alan, and Stuart (Leslie), each of whom she nurtured with care and affection. Roslyn was also a proud grandmother to Laurence, Shira (Tom), Jeffrey, Matthew, Lauren, and Melissa, and great grandmother to Brian, Alyssa, and Blake. She also had a very special relationship with daughter-in-law Michele. Her family was her greatest source of happiness, and she showered them with love and affection throughout her life.
Roslyn was the beloved wife of Abraham “Al” London, who preceded her in death after 62 years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and commitment, and even in his absence, Al's memory remained a cherished part of Roslyn's life.
Her energy was infectious and she had an uncanny ability to brighten any room with her warm smile. Whether it was spending time with friends, exploring the vibrant Aventura community, or sharing stories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Roslyn's love for life was unmistakable.
Roslyn's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will live on through the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the indomitable spirit she embodied.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Roslyn's memory to The Dementia Society of America (dementiasociety.org).
Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Roslyn’s remarkable journey and share their cherished memories. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 10th at 1:30 PM at Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024. There will be a shiva immediately following the funeral service in the home of Tom Gelske and Shira London.
