With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Samantha Gisselle Posso Carrasco. Samantha left this world on April 4, 2025, at just 17 years old — far too soon for those who love her, yet having lived a life overflowing with love, joy, and meaning.
Born on January 10, 2008, to Jose Luis Sr. and Leyla, Samantha was a radiant soul from the very beginning. She was the adored younger sister of Jose Luis Jr. and Fred Francisco and a cherished niece, cousin, and friend to many within her extended family and community.
Samantha had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and celebrated. She carried a lightness in her step and a sparkle in her eyes that lit up every room she entered. Her laughter was infectious, her heart open and generous, and her presence grounding to those around her.
She had a deep passion for music, often creating her world through melodies, lyrics, and movement. She loved to dance and found joy in expressing herself through rhythm and creativity. Family was everything to Samantha. Her bond with her parents and brothers was unbreakable, rooted in unconditional love, shared memories, and endless support.
To know Samantha was to feel loved. She had a way of showing up — with a text, a hug, a word of encouragement — exactly when you needed it most. She brought comfort, color, and compassion into the lives of everyone she met. Her spirit was luminous, and the beauty of her soul will echo in the hearts of those who carry her memory forward.
Samantha is survived by her devoted parents, Jose Luis Sr. and Leyla; her beloved brothers, Jose Luis Jr. and Fred Francisco; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Though our time with Samantha was heartbreakingly short, the depth of her impact is everlasting. We will honor her life by living with the same love, light, and joy she so effortlessly shared.
