Sandra Hope Rosen's Obituary
Sandra Hope Rosen (formerly Sandra Hope Sandler), age 84, of Tamarac, FL passed away on November 16, 2025, after a year-long battle with dementia.
Sandra was a devoted wife of 65 years to Bernard Rosen, whom she met in 1953 and married in August of 1960. She was a loving mother to her two children and their spouses, Bryna Rosen Misiura (and her husband, Andrew Misiura, Jr., deceased), and Evan Rosen (and his wife, Jolie Safonte Rosen). Sandra was a doting grandmother to seven grandchildren – David, Christopher, Isabella, Rebecca, Jacob, Kaden, and Lili, all of whom she loved tremendously.
Sandra especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, attending their preferred activities, including countless baseball practices and games, gymnastics practices and meets, and voice/piano lessons, etc. She loved “teatime” with her youngest grandchild, and school clothes shopping every year with all of them.
Sandra attended Boston University for business, and was a bookkeeper for several businesses, and ultimately for Starrett Building in Fort Lauderdale, FL, when she retired.
Sandra was an avid reader. There was never a mystery novel she couldn’t solve before its conclusion. She also enjoyed the satisfaction of completing 1000-plus piece puzzles. She loved going to Massachusetts to visit her grandchildren.
The family would like to express its deep gratitude to Jolie for her tireless and loving effort in caring for Sandra in the last year of her life.
