Seymour Wasserman's Obituary
Seymour Wasserman, age 96, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. Born on October 13, 1929, Seymour lived a long and meaningful life defined by devotion to his family, quiet strength, and enduring values.
He will be remembered with love and gratitude by his children, Meryl Shapiro and Scott Wasserman. Seymour was a proud and loving grandfather to Joshua Shapiro, Ross Shapiro, Bradley Shapiro, Max Wasserman, and Marni Wasserman, each of whom brought him great joy.
Seymour leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and deep connection to those he loved. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
A graveside service was held on June 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions in Seymour’s honor be made to the Jewish National Fund (https://www.jnf.org).
