Sheldon Lee Berkman's Obituary
Sheldon Berkman passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by integrity, service, and devotion to family and community.
A Certified Public Accountant, Sheldon deeply loved his profession and took great pride in his career. He was known for his professionalism, strong ethics, and the trust he earned throughout his working life.
Sheldon was a devoted and active Freemason, having served as Master of his lodge twice—once in Ohio and once in Florida. Freemasonry was central to his life, and he cherished the many friendships he formed both within the Craft and beyond it.
A man of deep generosity, Sheldon had a charitable heart and contributed liberally to his synagogue and to Masonic charities. He believed strongly in giving back and supporting causes that strengthened his community and helped those in need.
Above all, Sheldon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suezanne; his daughter, Katrina, and her husband, Charles; his son, Brent and his wife Jeannie Berkman; and his five cherished grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and pride.
Sheldon will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, wisdom, and the values he instilled in those who knew him. His legacy will live on through his family, his friendships, and the lives he touched.
May his memory be a blessing.
