Timothy Barnes' Obituary
The untimely passing of Timothy Barnes on 4/29/18 has greatly impacted the lives of all who knew him. Although he only saw 30 short years of life, those who had the pleasure of knowing Tim, know that he lived his life to the fullest.
Known as SK to most, Tim started his life in New York, where he was raised alongside his older brother, Troy, and 2 younger sisters, Brittney and Jada. His mother, Joan, moved the family down to South Florida when Tim started high school at Cypress Bay. From NY to FL, Tim developed an incredible core of close friends that have become family, Home Team - HT is Fam. Tim had a passion for cars and was highly respected for his skills in custom building and engineering original vehicles with his own style - Home Team Performance. Music was also a passion for SK, where he expressed himself through rap and made songs for the love of it.
There was nothing he was more passionate about than his children. Tim lived for his kids. Throughout the years, he created his gorgeous family of 4 children with his wife, Leslie. Their children; Taliyah (11), Timothy Jr. (6), Tatyana (5), and Tiyana (18 months), all have a piece of their father’s unique personality and will be a close and constant reminder of how strong Tim’s energy was and will forever be.
Timothy will be forever missed and eternally remembered by all of those whose life he touched. We will keep his spirit alive through our endless memories of his exciting and hilarious ways.
Tim is survived by his wife Leslie, 4 children (Taliyah, Timothy Jr, Tatyana, and Tiyana), mother Joan, father Errol, brother Troy, sisters Brittney and Jada, grandparents, aunts and uncles, so many cousins, all of Home Team, the growing number of nieces and nephews, and countless friends who loved him deeply. We will NEVER come across ANYONE like Timothy, EVER.
He would have wanted us all to celebrate his life to the fullest just as he did every day. Tim was the epitome of a “one-of-a-kind” and he will never be replaced nor forgotten. He truly is a legend. Long Live SK!
