Tyler Shurissa Harper's Obituary
Ms. Tyler Shurissa Harper, 22, resident of Tamarac, Florida passed away on February 28, 2021. Tyler was born on December 29, 1998 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Lester Shurland Harper and Melissa Sasha Paynter-Harper. Tyler attended Flannigan High School and Centennial High School and pursued a career as a budding entrepreneur. Tyler was a member of ROTC and played the Cello, she was full of life, love and laugher. Tyler was well loved by many and was known for her loving and charismatic character. She loved her son Kai and was the center of her families many dreams and goals. Heaven has truly gained an angel. She is predeceased by her Grandfather Michael Paynter, Grandmother Shirley Harper, and Grandfather Lester Harper Sr.; Tyler is survived by her mother Melissa Sasha Paynter-Harper; her father Lester Shurland Harper; her grandmother Lucille Paynter, her brother Amani Harper; her brother Ryan White; her sister Taylor Harper; her son Kai Liam Griffin; and by her uncles, aunts and loving cousins of the Paynter and Harper family. A service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Alexander-Levitt Funerals and Cremations, 8135 W. McNab Road, Tamarac, Florida 33321.
