Versie Rozefort's Obituary
Versie Mae Rozefort, aged 67, passed away on December 28, 2017 after a brief struggle with cancer. Versie was born on May 11, 1950, in Selmer, TN—the daughter of Wallace and Lavada Moten Hurst.
Verise enjoyed music, movies, the beach and long drives down A1A in convertibles. She supported numerous charities and community activities.
Versie married the love of her life, Arnauld Rozefort on June 20, 1989. They lived and worked in New York for a leading financial firm for many years until the warmth of South Florida called them home. In addition to raising their son Christopher, Versie and Arnauld enjoyed traveling, food the cinema and time spent with family and friends.
Versie was a member of Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale and is survived by her siblings, Reba Faye, Josie, Marsue Wheaty, Agnes, Troy, Nancy, George and her husband Arnauld Rozefort; sons, Tony Martin of Rutherford, New Jersey, and Christopher Rozefort of Tamarac, FL; four grand daughters; Peggy, Hannah, Hailey, Rachel and many other relatives and close friends.
