Claire Piche
Area Managing Partner, Operations
Claire Piché started her career over 15 years ago in the cemetery and funeral business as the receptionist at Beth David Memorial Gardens. Upon graduating with a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University, she had plans to move on and utilize her degree, but NorthStar had a different path in mind and offered the position of General Manager over Beth David, followed 10 years later with an offer to be Area Managing Partner, Operations.
Claire developed a passion for the industry and welcomed the opportunity. When asked about her role, Claire said, “Being able to be that guiding light on a families dark day is a reward beyond comprehension and the relationships I build with the families we serve are irreplaceable.” Claire saves all the notes from families she has helped over the years and says, “It means the world when a family has come back weeks, months, or even years later just to say Hello!” It is a heartfelt reminder of the impact we make everyday.
As a Florida native, when she is not managing the day to day operations over four of NorthStar’s locations, she enjoys anything outdoors where the sun is shining. Architecture, art, the beach, boating, paddle boarding, new obsession of her Peloton, spending time with her family, friends and fur-babies, Chichi and Lola, are some of her downtime interests. Whenever she can, Claire loves to travel throughout the states and abroad. This career has taught her to stop and take life in and appreciate every moment because you never know what’s next and always remember to smile, because you never know who’s day you will change with one simple gesture.
Gina Villano
Funeral Home Manager
Gina Villano embarked on her career in the funeral service industry with NorthStar in 2014. She began as a Clerical & Admin Specialist at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens in Boynton Beach, FL. During this time, she also enrolled in the Funeral Service/Mortuary Science Program at Miami Dade College.
While pursuing her education, Gina’s dedication caught the attention of Levitt-Weinstein in Coconut Creek, FL. They offered her the position of Office Manager, and she transferred to the funeral home in January 2015. As the office manager, she contributed to the smooth operation of Levitt-Weinstein.
In April 2017, Gina graduated from Miami Dade College and continued her journey in the industry. She completed her Funeral Director/Embalmer internship with Levitt-Weinstein and subsequently became a full-time funeral director at Alexander-Levitt.
In February 2022, Gina embraced a new opportunity by transferring to Beth Israel Memorial Chapels as an Assistant Funeral Home Manager. Now, she is back at Alexander-Levitt, serving families as the Funeral Home Manager.
Gina’s commitment to compassionate service and her diverse experience makes her an invaluable asset to the funeral service community.
We illuminate paths to peace with personalized ceremonies and memorial tributes that honor your loved one.
