Anthony
To my Uncle, my best friend, my mentor, you were the man the rock that taught so much about life. You guided at times when I was down, you encouraged me when life was going well. You always had a way with words to keep me level headed. We enjoyed so many good times together from playing basketball, paddleball and other sports, to enlightening me in our endeavors in the world of music. I remember when you would take me to church on Sundays, St. Thomas on Southern Blve and 174th Street. We both held high standards professionally when it came to becoming a paramedic. There was so many times when either one of us would call each other and it was like we lived close by. Our last talk we had I knew and felt the pain you were having, the breathing was heavy. You told me to take care of myself, knowing that I too have the heart condition you had. You always asked about my prostate cancer, and digestive issues when all I wanted to talk about was you. You gave me great insight into the history of our family. I learned plenty from you and you guided me through life, you Titi Julie, Titi Nena, Grandma, My Mother and Uncle Richie. Now left are only Titi Julie and Titi Esperanza and Marainna. I feel kind of empty but I know you are deep in my heart forever, until we meet again in Heaven, God Bless your soul Uncle Tommy. God Bless. You taught me that family is the most important thing in life. I will miss you greatly. From Anthony your nephew
